VENUES

  • Ground floor and room access via signing in or using our smart key card.

  • Classrooms are ready and clean for you to use, if you need additional chairs or white board, ASK FOR HELP.

  • Drinks are only available in the kitchen for both teachers and students. Please make sure no one uses the bottled water, tea or cups in the room, which will incur additional charges.

  • After class, please do work with students to return the room as you found it. E.g. Put the chairs in order, clean the whiteboard if used, return mugs and cups to kitchen. REMEMBER, to plug the HDMI cable back into the TV if you unplug it! 

  • If you are the last one in the venue, please make sure you close the office door and it’s locked.

EQUIPMENT

  • Teachers will need to use their own computer to connect to our TVs to show screen.

  • You can connect to our network WIFI, but we will need to send your email address to reception. Halkin wifi with password Smartspace.

  • Make sure you have a connector for your computer to connect with a HDMI cable. Please make sure your set up is done before your class starts. 

  • TV control is available in the office, ask for it if you can’t find it. Please make sure to return it back to office after use. 

TEAM COMMUNICATION

Slack for communication

  • Install Slack on your phone and get invitation to join PM team.
  • All communication about you and your jobs will be on your channel. General channel is for everyone.
  • Set the message notification to ON, PUSH ALL NOTIFICATIONS.

  • It is used for all communications, including your job assignments and reporting back.

  • Slack works as a messenger rather than emails, our teachers generally reply within one hour when you see messages.

Acuity for booking

  • Set up your Acuity account, log on via computer or install a phone app.
  • Set up your availability, connect with your personal calendar if you have any.
  • Start receiving bookings! Watch training videos for any questions.

Zoho + Teaching Packs

  • Most of our teaching material are saved digitally on the platform, Zoho.

  • Your account will be shared relevant teaching materials, which are forbidden to be shared or used outside of PM lessons.

  • Printed, ready to use material is also available in course material folders in head office.

Zoom for online lessons

  • Set up an account with Zoom, get invited to join the team, use our virtual background for lessons.
  • Private tutoring 1-1 is free, PM will upgrade your account if you are teaching more than 2 students online.

YOUR CONTRACT

Please review your contract.

Firstly, understand your responsibility and entitlement, you should respect your limitations i.e. using our IP protected material or internal training for other purposes.

Lastly, let’s talk about mutual expectations, how we can help you to teach, and how much you want to teach.

MONTHLY INVOICE

  • Look at the invoice template
  • Each month, head office will send you your total worked hours based on use Acuity, use it to fill in the invoice.

  • When submitting your refreshment receipts, please make sure it’s an VAT itemised receipt, and circle out the relevant items.
