16-May-2016       Beijing        Sunny Intervals

Today, I arrived from London to Beijing. Beijing is very large and there are a lot of people. The people in Beijing are very friendly and warm hearted. A lot of them are saying hello to me.

In the afternoon I was at Starbucks drinking coffee and a friendly local asked me: “Sir, what is your family name?” I studied Chinese at Practical Mandarin in London for a year so I could speak a little Mandarin. I said to him: “My name is Wei”. He asked me: “Why?” I was very pleased and I said: “Correct…correct. I am called Why Summer. How did you know my name?”
